21 лютого - Міжнародний день рідної мови
В світі – 6 000 розмовних мов. Половині з
них загрожує зникнення через те, що часто мови меншин не передаються наступним
поколінням. В Україні – 130 національностей, які мають свою мову. Про це та
інші питання збереження рідної мови говорила у вступному слові завідувач бібліотеки-філії
№3 для дорослих Валентина Ходаковська під час заходу «Рідна калинова, щира і
чудова – все це наша українська мова», організованого для учнів КЗ"Луцька вечірня (змінна) школа Луцької
міської ради". Вона познайомила з книгою-читанкою для недільних шкіл «Країна
Романія» як позитивним прикладом збереження рідної мови ромами. Бібліотекарі Віра Берегович, Алла Гладун провели мовний турнір,
під час якого 2 команди учнів продовжували прислів’я, приказки, відгадували
слова пісень та відповідали на запитання вікторини. Перемогла, звичайно, дружба, а заохочувальними
призами були солодощі.
